Support

Something not working, or a question the app does not answer? Write to us — a person reads every message. Most answers are below, and everything on this page works whether or not you can get into the app.

Email us

support@ubumi.online

We read support mail Monday to Friday, 9:00–17:00. Write in English or Greek, whichever you prefer.

What to put in your message

These four things let us find your account and reproduce the problem, which usually turns two or three emails into one:

  • The email address on your Ubumi account — write from it if you can.
  • Which role you were using: person, worker, employer, or facility.
  • Your phone and its system version, for example iPhone 14 on iOS 18, or Samsung A54 on Android 14.
  • What you did, what you expected, and what happened instead. A screenshot helps more than a description.

Common questions

I forgot my password

On the sign-in screen choose Forgot password. We email you a link that opens on this website, where you set a new one — it works even if the app is not installed. If the email does not arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder before writing to us.

I signed up with Google and cannot sign in with a password

Accounts created with Google have no Ubumi password until you set one. Use Forgot password on the sign-in screen to set one, or keep using the Google button.

How do I update my profile?

Open the app and go to Settings, then Account. Your name, photo, roles, skills and location all live there.

How do I change notification settings?

In the app, Settings then Notifications. You can turn email and push notifications on or off separately — job updates still appear in the app either way.

How do I delete my account?

In the app: Settings, then Help, then Delete account. Without the app: go to ubumi.online/delete-account and confirm from the email we send. Your account closes straight away and is erased for good after 30 days — what that removes.

I deleted my account by mistake

Within 30 days we can restore it. Email us from the address on the account and ask. After 30 days the data is gone and cannot be recovered.

Can I get a copy of my data?

Yes. Ask us from the email address on your account and we will send it. Do this before deleting your account — afterwards there is nothing left to send.

A worker or employer is behaving badly

Tell us what happened and who was involved, with the job and the date. A person on our team reviews every report, and accounts that break the rules can lose their roles or be closed.

Found a bug?

Send it to bugs@ubumi.online with the steps that trigger it and a screenshot. Bug reports go straight to the people who fix them.

Emails we send

Every message from Ubumi comes from one address. Most are about something you did; a few are sent because another user involved you — assigned you a task or put you forward for a job. If our mail lands in your spam folder, marking this address as safe fixes it for good:

All Ubumi email comes from

no-reply@ubumi.online

That address only sends — nobody reads replies to it. For anything that needs an answer, write to support@ubumi.online instead.

  • Your Ubumi verification code — when you sign up and confirm your email address — the code lasts 5 minutes
  • Reset your Ubumi password — only after you ask for it on the sign-in screen — the link lasts 30 minutes
  • Confirm deleting your Ubumi account — only after you start a deletion. Nothing is deleted until you press the button on that page
  • Someone assigned you a task on Ubumi — when another person sends you a task to accept or decline
  • Someone referred you to a job on Ubumi — when another person puts you forward for a job
  • Updates about a job you applied for or posted — when an application you are part of changes — applied, invited, accepted, declined, cancelled, or finished
  • How was working with…? — after a job finishes, to ask you to rate the person you worked with

We will never ask you for your password, by email or any other way, and we never ask you to send card details. If a message claims to be from Ubumi and asks for either, it is not from us — forward it to us and delete it. Our links always go to ubumi.online; check the address before you tap.
